Welcome to The Lost Horizons Family Campground. We are a privately owned and family friendly campground. The campground is open to registered campers and their visitors only. We have created the following rules and regulations to provide a safe and relaxing camping experience for you and your family. By making a reservation at The Lost Horizons Family Campground, you and your guests/visitors agree to abide by the rules and regulations in addition to all local, state, and federal laws. The registered person is responsible for the actions of all persons at the site, the following rules WILL BE ENFORCED throughout your stay.

ARRIVAL: Please stop at the office upon arriving at the main entrance to get your car pass and wristbands. If you are arriving outside of the office hours, pull forward to The Junction (the building by the river) to check in. All campers must be 15 feet apart and backed into the site (with the exception of pull-trough sites and Class A Campers). No “U-shaped” arrangements are permitted.
CAMP STORE OFFICE HOURS: Thursday-Friday: 10-8| Saturday: 9-5| Sunday: 8-12|
Monday – Wednesday: Building is closed–Junction Staff is available to assist guests|
THE JUNCTION HOURS: Monday-Thursday: 10-6| Friday-Saturday: 9-9| Sunday: 8-6|
RESERVATIONS: All reservations are paid in full at the time of booking. Reservations can be made 365 days in advance online on a first come, first serve basis. You MUST be 21 to register. (Registered camper is financially responsible for guests.)
SITES: Hook up sites (electric and water): 1 camping unit/2 vehicles OR 2 tents/2 vehicles per site. An additional tent is permitted for a $25 fee per night. All sites have 1 fire ring and 1 picnic table. Do NOT remove ring or table from your site. If damaged, you will be charged. 8 people max per hook-up site
Primitive tent sites: 1 tent and 1 vehicle; 4 people max per primitive site
Please keep all vehicles and personal property within the boundaries of your site and off the road so other campers have room to pull in and park. We need to allow emergency vehicles to gain access throughout the park as needed. Parking or spreading out on vacant sites is strictly prohibited.
OCCUPANCY: Maximum of 8 people per site at any one time (4 max in primitive) including registered guests and visitors during regular camping season. Additional fees for additional guests will apply. The number of guests staying at your site must be indicated in your reservation with fees paid in full to receive proper number of wristbands upon checking in. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Replacement bands are $5.
CAR PASSES: Each vehicle must display a valid car pass in the window. These are given out upon arrival. Unregistered vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 11 pm – 8 am. Noise levels must be contained within your campsite, children 17 and under must be onsite and under parent supervision. Excessive noise, loud parties or amplified music are not allowed.
POSTED SPEED LIMIT: Posted speed limit is 5 mph throughout the campground and includes golf carts/ATV’s. Please always obey the speed limit as there are children at play. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right-of-way!
VISITORS AND GUESTS: All guests not registered to the site at time of check-in are considered visitors. There is a daily fee of $5 per adult; $3 youth 2-17 years; (under 2 years are free). All visitors and guests must register with the office before entering the campground for their car pass and wristband. Visiting hours: 9 am – 9 pm. All campers are responsible for their visitors/guests. If there are visitors at your site without registering, you and your visitors may be asked to leave the campground.
GOLF CARTS/ATV’S: Golf carts and ATV’s are permitted in the campground. All golf cart and ATV drivers must have a valid driver’s license AND be over the age of 18, follow all rules of the road including the posted speed limit, no drinking or intoxication while driving. Children are not permitted to drive. Golf carts and ATV’s are only to be driven on designated roads or paths, they are not permitted to be driven through other campsites or in the primitive tent camping area. Only the designated number of people can be in the cart at one time. ATV’s are only permitted to enter/exit the park to designated site. ATV’s are NOT permitted to be ridden throughout the park from site to site. Golf carts with lights are permitted until 11:00pm on roadways only. If you violate these rules, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Alcohol is permitted in moderation (underage drinking is illegal & subject to arrest) and must be consumed on registered site only. No public display.
FIREARMS AND FIREWORKS: Are strictly prohibited for the safety of all campers. Other banned items include potato guns, balloon launchers, spotlights, laser pointers or other items deemed dangerous.
PETS: Pets must always be kept on a maximum 6’ leash at all times and remain tied on a strong durable chain or rope that will not allow the pet to extend off the site in any direction. Limit 2 dogs per site. $5 pet fee. Pets should never be left unattended. All pet/dog droppings are the responsibility of the pet own. Please pick up after your pet. If any pet is creating a disturbance, being a nuisance, or demonstrating aggressive behavior toward another pet or camper, the pet shall immediately be removed as per the request of the manager. All pets should be registered and have proper up-to date tags or papers to be presented to the campground upon request. Visitors of guests are not permitted to bring pets. Children shall not be allowed to walk pets alone without an adult. No pets are allowed in the office, restaurant, shower house, restrooms or playground. The Lost Horizons, LLC reserves the right to deny any pet’s entrance into the campground at their sole discretion.
CAMPFIRES: Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store. Do NOT cut any timber (live or dead)- you will be charged $250 or more. Campfires are only permitted in contained fire rings, NOT to exceed KNEE HIGH. Do NOT leave fire unattended. Please make sure that your fire is completely extinguished prior to leaving. Remove all trash from the ring and dispose of it in designated dumpsters. NO nails, glass or garbage will be permitted to be burned in the pit. No skid burning or bonfires are permitted at any time. A $10 fee will be charged to your card if you leave trash in your fire pit.
WATER: Do NOT wash cars, campers, boats, etc. in the park. Filling of pools is not permitted. Do not throw water balloons or shoot water guns at the canoers/rafters on the river as they have paid for their trip and should not be bothered by such. Violators will be immediately removed from the park without a refund.
DUMP STATION/WASTE WATER: All waste water must be dumped at waste sites or dump station. NO sewage or gray water from your camper will be permitted to be dumped onto the ground. RV pumping is available for a fee through a private company.
TRASH: Do NOT litter. Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please use them. You are responsible to keep your site clean and dispose of your trash properly throughout the day. Our park provides trash pick-up 2 times a day: 8pm and 10pm. Place your bagged/tied trash near the roadway to be picked up. Do not leave trash outside overnight. All trash must be removed from your campsite, bagged, and placed near roadway or in dumpsters. Additional clean up fees of $25 will be assessed for us to clean up your mess.
TREES: Respect our trees, no cutting or climbing allowed. Firewood may be purchased at the camp store for outside fires. No chain saws allowed.
COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY: Please be courteous and respectful of your neighbors. Only walk on roadways or designated trails, do not cut through anyone’s campsite. No loud music or bright lights outside during quiet hours. Drug use, intoxication, lewd behavior, state of undress, profanity, threatening or vulgar language or immoral conduct will not be tolerated at any time and will be grounds for immediate removal without refunds.
RESTROOMS/SHOWERS: The restroom and shower facilities are open 24/7 for registered campers only. Please do not put anything in the toilets other than toilet paper. Always supervise your children, any vandalizing of the restrooms or showers will result in your immediate removal from the campground. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN THE RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS.
DAMAGES: Please report any damages or issues at your site upon your arrival by either visiting the office or Junction. The Lost Horizons, LLC will not accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles, theft, or property damage. Please lock and secure your belongings when not at your campsite.
ACCIDENTS / INCIDENTS: All activities are done at your own risk (swim, fish, tube, raft, play, etc.) Report all accidents, incidents, violators, or inconsiderate conduct immediately to management. DO NOT WAIT!
LARGE GATHERINGS: Are not permitted without prior approval from the management.
TRAILERS: If you are bringing in your own golf cart or ATV, unload at your site and move your trailer to the front parking area for the duration of your stay.
PAYMENT & REFUND POLICIES: Payment in full is due at time of reservation for all camping sites. Cancellation of campsites 7 days or more prior to the arrival date, will be refunded minus a $10 cancellation fee. Sites cancelled within 7 days of arrival will NOT receive any refund. Changing the date within 7 days of your arrival is not permitted. Cancellations due to weather, medical, early departures, etc. are not exempt from this policy.

The Lost Horizons, LLC. Is a private facility not supported by tax dollars. Failure to adhere to these rules can result in your immediate removal from the property without any refunds. We reserve the right to evict from the campground, without a refund, anyone violating park rules, destroying property, wildlife or vegetation, detrimental conduct or creating a disturbance. We reserve the right to seek arrest of anyone who is in violation of any local, state, and federal laws. We reserve the right to amend, add, interpret, adjust, make, and enforce rules deemed necessary for operations for the safety, convenience, comfort, and enjoyment of its guests at any time. NO REFUNDS will be granted if you are asked to leave.
All facilities are used at your own risk. The owners and staff are NOT liable for loss or damage of personal property or injuries to any occupant of any age or damage to any vehicle or personal equipment. THIS PROPERTY IS PRIVATELY OWNED WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
